It's A Robot Vacuum And Mop Success Story You'll Never Remember

Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mop are getting more efficient. They pass our cleaning tests, and can handle different flooring. Look for models that let you choose from a variety of modes, and use their charging dock to self-empty, and clean up stairs.

A lot of the top models are compatible with your smartphone. Look for an app that allows you to save maps, schedules and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos on the market. It uses lidar to navigate, create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set up schedules and modify the S1's behavior.

The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which comprises linoleum in the dining area, kitchen and bathrooms, as well as large rugs and a medium-pile. It was capable of driving close to walls and even cross raised thresholds without issue. However it was a bit difficult navigating down the stairs in one step. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and raised itself when it was near carpets or carpets.

After every mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills its water tank with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock provides a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 cleaning sessions, but this will vary based on how often you use the mop.

The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like any other 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to periodically rinse out the dirty tank to keep it from becoming blocked. Also, you'll need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to prevent them from getting clogged up with dust or dirt. Overall the S1 is easy to maintain, especially compared to other combinations that require more care.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-1 robot mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a great choice to meet your cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction power and comes with a variety of innovative features including voice control and smart path scheduling that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. The mopping capabilities of the robot are remarkable, with mops rotating that actually lift and scrub the floor rather than simply drag the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned and dried at the base station, as required.

The robot comes with a simple interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum which can be used to clean those hard-to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are two water tanks which are automatically emptied or filled. It also has a range of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a great vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction that is able to effortlessly remove dust and debris that other robots have trouble with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty good, although it could get stuck on small area mats and rugs at my home (which you can reduce by defining virtual boundaries in the app). Its mopping is quite good as well, with two spinning mop heads that actually lift and scrub the floors, instead of just dragging the pad over it. The mops can be cleaned with heated water, and dried in the basestation whenever required. The mops are also refilled at the top of the station if required.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new top-of-the-line robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results and is simple to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our top list of mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush ensure that an effective, customized cleaning is achieved.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It is equally effective on hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests with ease by avoiding pet hairs as well as other mess. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by a side brush that moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that deploys alongside baseboards.

Its navigation is nimble it can navigate narrow spaces and climbing stairs without missing a beat. It can move from one room to another without having to reverse direction which is a great feature for larger homes with several rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than that of some competitors and leaves a wide space over obstacles. This can lead to missed spots.

The app's interface is intuitive and easy to use. It should be easy to use for both novices and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings, alter the suction power and mopping settings as well as view 3D and 2D maps, and more. It is accessible via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri and allows you to monitor its progress from any location. You can also remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You will require a reliable WiFi connection to run the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 Pro

A robot vacuum can do a fantastic job of picking up dirt and debris, but it can't always get every last particle of dust.  agree with this  is why it's important to make use of your regular vacuum once every week, and especially to remove dust from corners and on shelves and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mop, is designed to accomplish this. It's simple to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and integrates with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more convenient addition to your daily cleaning routine.

The Q5 is an edgier version of the company's more pricier S-series models, including the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It uses a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but cuts down on cost by eliminating mopping functions and using a lower-cost plastic body.

The Q5 is still one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping machines we've ever seen at this price, even though it's not equipped to clean your floors. It features a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an automatic emptying system, so you don't have to manually empty the bin every time. It comes with a smart application that lets you schedule cleaning and set the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling and washing system for hands-free operation.

Its mops also impress with their 2700Pa capacity to take on pet hair and dirt on carpets as well as hard floors. The Q5 is among the few robots we tested that didn't have any problems with carpets with high piles or area rugs, but it couldn't pick up kitty litter or cable tangles, which is no surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we have tested, it also uses a unique system to map your home. This really helps it get into corners and tight spaces that other vacuums cannot reach. The device also collects dust in a larger bin which means you need empty it less frequently. It also has washable filters, which further reduces costs. The robot can also recognize carpets and boost the suction when needed. The app allows you to mark areas that you want it to stay clear of and is a great feature.
